As
the R & R Golf League starts it's 2008 season and 13th year, we look back
at our history...

1995 - The Rock & Roll Golf League is formed by
4 guys in the music industry who had a passion for the game of Golf.
-
1996 - Mid-June, the league officially started
at Island Lake Golf Course with 8 members and ended the season in August
with 10 members.

1997 - The league grows to 12 members and moves
to Goodrich Golf Course.

1998 - The Rock & Roll Golf League grows from 12
to it's current 24 chartered MGA members and moves to Oneka Ridge Golf
Course where we played till 2001.

2002 - Present, The R & R Golf League returns to
Goodrich Golf Course where we remain to date.

|
- Since our beginning in 1995, we have had 46 members. 14 of our 24
current members are still active in the Music and Entertainment industry.
And our League has paid more than $85,000 in greens' fees.
- In honor of one of our past members, Mike "Woody" Rowe, we have
created "The Woody Award".
This award is given to the "Most Improved
player" of the season as determined by the MGA.
